Being a Lansing Maternity Photographer brings me great pride to help create beautiful heirloom artwork through this special time in your life. Being a mom of two I know how difficult pregnancy can be and how quickly they slip away.
Maternity photos are often overlooked for many families, but it is such an important step of the way to your new and growing family that you should absolutely have it documented!
Many moms are quite nervous as they don’t feel like they want to be photographed with a body that they are so unfamiliar with. I get it as I went through this twice and things may fit and feel totally different than your’e used to! But, I assure you, it is my job and number one priority to make you look and feel absolutely gorgeous!
How Do I Dress?
Being a Lansing Maternity Photographer I make every step as easy, laid back, and as stress free as possible! Once you book your session, you’ll have a variety of absolutely stunning gowns to choose from within my very own maternity wardrobe! All of my gowns fit a wide range of sizes and are flattering on all different body types! Many of my gowns can actually be worn multiple ways to change up the look! We can go from glam to a more flowy look in a matter of seconds with the same exact gown!
What About My Family?
Each mom is given a detailed style guide that helps your significant other and any other children look their best when joining you for your session! It gives you step by step tips on what to do and what not to do for your session! I am there every step of the way for any questions or help that you need when styling your family! You are going to look so beautiful in your gown and your family’s wardrobe should reflect that too!
I promise you, 100%, that I will be there guiding you into each pose and telling exactly what you need to do to look your absolute best. My guidance will allow you to show off that amazing bump and to beautifully capture your curves in the best way. I use a variety of flattering angles and poses to ensure that you will look your absolute best! So, be prepared to come, relax, and enjoy the process of feeling absolutely beautiful in my one of a kind gowns! And most importantly, have fun!!
Your maternity session can be of just mom or the entire family! I always encourage the entire family to take part as this is a big event for all of you! You all should be in on the excitement and joy of the anticipation of your newest little one!

What Locations Are In Lansing?
Lansing is such a beautiful city with an abundance of locations. I search for areas with tall grass and a spectacular wood line to give you your unique pictures.
Motz Park
This location is so beautiful. There are so many different areas in the park that can be used. The park is has a couple ponds, beautiful wood line, open fields, rolling hills, and other amazing natural beauties. Below are a few images from a few sessions that I have had here. I absolutely love this park and if this type of imagery is what my clients want this is what they get.
Fenner Park
This is another beautiful location in downtown Lansing. This park is a hidden gem. It feels like you are out in the country while being surrounded by the city. There are virtually an infinite amount of possibilities of spots to use in this park. If you can imagine it we can do it at this park.
Michigan State Botanical Gardens
MSU Botanical Gardens is a seasonal wonder. During the spring and early summer this location has the most beautiful flowers. There is so much life here. A beautiful brick walkway crosses throughout the garden. There are fountains intermixed which adds a nice clean and elegant touch to the experience.
Michigan State Campus
If you are looking for beautiful brick architecture in East Lansing this is the place to go. Between the buildings and the green space we can always find the perfect spot to highlight who you are. This place incredible stair cases with bold columns, gentle sloping grass with beautiful flowering trees, and amazing brick walkways.
Downtown Lansing
If you are looking for an incredible urban feel to your session this is the place to go. As with all of the locations I visit there are an enormous amount of possibilities. Between the tall glass buildings, to the capital, and finally the beautiful murals this place has your name on it if you want urban.
